These tools were developed through my personal interest in digital photo processing. My interests are in either simplifying tasks or accomplishing something new. Many tools are “lossless”, meaning they employ a lossless JPEG algorithm for no generational loss in quality during processing! All tools are available in “install-free” (i.e. USB flash drive compatible) versions, and designed for processing JPEG files. They are provided for your free personal/non-commercial use. I hope you find them useful, as developing them has been my avocation.

E-pic is a simple wizard to “Resize – Stamp – Frame” your camera photos in just a few mouse-clicks! (Sample) For even easier drag-and-drop operation try E-pic Express and just drag your images onto the E-pic program icon for instant processing. Great for preparing email photos!

Movie Thumbnailer Express (MTE) will generate a JPEG thumbnail from your video file and afford you the opportunity to stamp the file’s date and time, along with an optional caption, onto that thumbnail. Create thumbnails for several files, or multiple folders at one time. MTE is very fast and easy to use. Designed to aid in cataloging and identifying your clips and their content, your thumbnails can contain either 2, 4 or 8 mini-thumbnail images extracted from equal intervals within the clip.

Furnished with a simple installer, or as an “install-free” version (just drag and drop files or folders onto the MTE program icon). Supports most current digital video formats.

MetadataMirror is a tool I use every day. Whether I am looking for detailed image metadata, or just checking that my images were geotagged correctly, MetadataMirror (screenshot) is conveniently there. As a minimalist interface for ExifTool (included), I can rest assured that I am seeing ALL the metadata in my image files. Select from various metadata filters.

metaZAP erases image metadata. There is no easier way to accomplish this task. metaZAP deletes all EXIF, Makernotes, IPTC, XMP and other metadata in your files by simply dragging and dropping your image files onto the metaZAP program icon. All that’s left is the image!
